I've just read the following article regarding Tassie's shame of surgery wait at

and it is disgraceful that the ALP State Gov has made Tasmanians wait triple the national average time for elective surgery.
It also says " It also shows Tasmania had a lower rate of public hospital doctors and nurses than the Australian average"! This just shows that the Bartlett Labor Government is not committed to fairness, security, innovation, governance and guaranteed services as they state in their comments regarding their public sector policy at http://www.abettertasmania.com/
The Tasmanian public needs to vote for a real progressive alternative such as Socialist Alliance that is really committed to a well resourced public sector.
